1. The cable tray system shall have reliable electrical connections and be grounded (for metal cable trays only).

2. When the cable tray system is permitted to form a grounding trunk circuit, the following requirements shall be met: The connection resistance between the ends of the cable tray shall not exceed 0.00033 ohms, and the insulating coating of the grounding holes shall be removed. In 1kV and below neutral point directly grounded systems, the grounding of the receiving equipment shall be connected to the neutral grounding of the system. When equipped with automatic power disconnection devices, the cross-sectional area of ​​the metal cable tray along its length shall not be less than the specified value.

3. When a separate grounding trunk line is laid along the entire length of the cable tray, each section of the cable tray (including non-straight sections) shall have at least one point reliably connected to the grounding trunk line.

4. For vibrating locations, spring coils shall be installed at the grounding connection points.
