Tray-type cable trays are widely used in cable laying in petroleum, chemical, power, and television communication industries. They are characterized by their light weight, high load capacity, and aesthetically pleasing appearance. Their structure adopts an open tray design, consisting of a base plate and side plates, resulting in a wider tray than traditional trough-type cable trays. Two technical branches are available: perforated and non-perforated. The perforated type improves cable heat dissipation through ventilation holes, while the non-perforated type focuses on protection.

 

Compared to trough-type cable trays, tray-type cable trays increase tray width by 28%, cable capacity by 35%, and weight by 18%. These trays are available in stainless steel, aluminum alloy, and steel. Aluminum alloy is 30% lighter than traditional steel, and steel trays, through hot-dip galvanizing, achieve a theoretical corrosion resistance life of 25 years. With a zinc coating thickness of 86μm, salt spray corrosion resistance exceeds 2000 hours, and special anti-corrosion treatment can be applied in heavily corrosive environments.
