We place the holes carefully. The bottom has a matrix of holes. The holes are evenly spaced. They allow good airflow. Heat escapes from the tray. The holes also allow water to drain. No pooling on the tray. The side rails are solid. This keeps the cables contained. The holes do not weaken the tray. We design the hole pattern to preserve the structural strength. The tray carries its rated load without sagging. Under full load, the deflection stays under 1/200 of the span.

The Perforated U-Channel Cable Tray is available in steel and stainless steel. Steel is the most common choice. It is strong and affordable. For outdoor use, we hot-dip galvanize the steel. The zinc coating is 65μm or thicker. For indoor use, powder coating is available. The coating is 60μm thick. Stainless steel is available for wet and corrosive environments. 304 is the standard grade. 316 is for coastal and chemical applications. All accessories match the tray material.
