The Science of Waves

 

The corrugation process is simple but effective. We run the steel through a forming machine. The machine creates uniform waves along the length. These waves change the geometry of the tray. The resulting structure resists bending much better than flat steel. We also add vertical stiffening ribs to the side rails. These ribs prevent the side walls from buckling under load. The combination of waves and ribs creates a very rigid tray. It does not sag or twist. The design also increases the surface area for heat dissipation. Cables stay cooler. The tray works for both power and data applications.

Corrugated roll-formed construction with side rail stiffening ribs. Uniform wave pattern provides rigidity. 30-50% lighter than flat trays.

Q235 Carbon Steel: Powder coating (≥60μm) or Hot-dip galvanized (≥65μm, ≥480h salt spray) or Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium coating. Stainless Steel: 304 or 316. Aluminum: 6063.

W<300mm: 1.0mm; 300≤W<500: 1.2mm; 500≤W<800: 1.4mm; W>800: 1.5mm

Load Performance

Deflection ≤ Span / 200 at rated load. No permanent deformation under normal loads.
