Energy plants and large industrial facilities have heavy cable loads. There may be 30 or 40 large power cables in one bundle. The total weight is tremendous. Column spacing in these facilities is often 8 meters or more. Standard trays cannot handle this combination of weight and span. They bend. They sag. They may even fail. Our Heavy-Duty Long Span Tray is designed for exactly these conditions. It carries the heaviest loads across the longest spans.

Double-Bent Side Rails and Stiffener Grid

 

This tray is built differently from standard products. The side rails are double-bent. This means we take two layers of steel and bend them together. The effective thickness is over 4.0mm. This gives extreme rigidity. The bottom has a grid of stiffeners. We use primary and secondary stiffeners arranged in a pattern. Think of a bridge truss structure. It distributes the load evenly across the entire tray surface. The rungs are spaced at 200mm. We use 6mm round steel or 12mm flat steel for the rungs. The load capacity is double that of standard trays. We tested this tray at 8 meters. We applied a load of 6.0kN/m. This is twice the standard requirement. The deflection was under 40mm. After we removed the load, the tray returned to its original shape. No permanent bend.

Built to Last in Demanding Environments

 

We do not take shortcuts with the Heavy-Duty Long Span Tray. The hot-dip galvanized coating is 85μm or thicker. This is higher than standard requirements. Heavy-duty trays are often used outdoors or in wet areas. The thick zinc layer ensures long corrosion life. We also offer stainless steel for chemical plants and coastal areas. Aluminum is available for weight-sensitive applications. All accessories match the strength of the main tray. Splice plates are thicker. Bolts are stronger. Brackets are heavier. We also provide seismic support kits. This tray meets JB/T 10216-2025 heavy-duty standards. You get a system that is safe, stable, and reliable for decades.

Load Performance

Tested at 6.0kN/m over 8m span. Deflection < 40mm. No permanent deformation.

Safety Standard

Deflection ≤ Span / 200. 1.5x rated load with no plastic deformation. Meets JB/T 10216-2025 heavy-duty standard.
