Rust is the biggest enemy of outdoor cable trays. Rain, humidity, and temperature changes all cause corrosion. Standard coatings wear off over time. Our HDG Perforated Cable Tray uses hot-dip galvanizing. We dip the entire tray into molten zinc. The zinc bonds to the steel. This creates a permanent protective layer. The coating is 65μm or thicker. It lasts for decades in outdoor conditions.
Every Surface Is Protected
The hot-dip process covers everything. The outside of the tray gets coated. The inside gets coated. The holes get coated. The cut edges get coated. There is no bare steel anywhere. This is important because rust often starts at cut edges and hole edges. Our HDG tray has no weak points. The zinc also provides cathodic protection. If the coating gets scratched, the zinc corrodes first. The steel stays protected. The tray passes 480 hours of salt spray testing. It is ready for coastal and industrial environments.
Perforations Add Functionality
The perforated bottom gives you several benefits. Heat escapes through the holes. Cables run cooler. Rain water drains through the holes. Water does not pool on the tray. The holes also make the tray lighter. Installation is easier. You can see the cables through the holes. Inspection is quick. We offer this tray in multiple widths and heights. Standard length is 2000mm. Custom lengths are available. All accessories are hot-dip galvanized to the same standard. Our 2-year warranty covers everything.
